Our Story
Wattlebewillbe is a 22-hectare Wildlife Land Trust sanctuary in the Brigalow Belt, where threatened species like the greater glider and koala find refuge alongside remnant woodlands and seasonal waterways. Managed for conservation since 2010, it demonstrates how small-scale private land can successfully combine ecological restoration, regenerative lifestyle, and long-term biodiversity monitoring.

Wattlebewillbe adjoins more than 40,000 hectares of Coominglah State Forest, including Endangered Regional Ecosystems, and is otherwise surrounded by agricultural land. Once cleared for grazing and timber harvesting, the property is now a registered Wildlife Land Trust sanctuary, combining low-impact food production with biodiversity recovery, guided by ecological monitoring and a focus on habitat for the endangered greater glider (Petauroides volans).
